I agree there should be a balance. But I also feel long gaps between films due to working back to back with HR and Aamir impacted her more. It might have been a conscious decision though since she was doing less films she wanted to do few biggies to remain in the limelight.

She might sustain a bit if she works with a superstar or does a really light romcom. But I feel the perception that she cannot act and her still problematic hindi has tuned out the Multiplex audience. Her differentiation with single screen audience seems to be lost as well because now most of the A-list Heroines do the song-dance routine.

No big heroine should work with Aamir. He actually doesn't have a big fanbase that the heroine would need to keep them happy so that they support her for a year or two. You rightly called him in one thread - The Biggest Piggybacker of BW - His movies work only because of his shrewdness and riding on other people's popularity.

Online fans are not everything, they don't even make 2% of total fan following of any star. Aamir's fans don't fight on social media for him because his fan base mostly consist of families. I have seen lots of people who are ardent fans of other stars and waiting for Aamir's movie and talk about its development regularly; thus creating buzz. Subtle Buzz for Aamir's movie remain all round the year, he doesn't need to pull dirty tactics to create buzz. Just a news about his movie in news channel or paper is enough for people to start talking. Curiosity is always present in people to see what he will do in his next movie and people wait for it, giving him advantage. Out of the sight, out of the mind don't work him, because people become more excited to know that what he is doing that is taking so much time.

OT: katty isn't over as of yet, she might do flower pot roles, but will definately be present. I so wish she do a movie like MBKD.
