Dishoom struggled on Monday with collections of around 4.75 crore nett. The drop from Friday is around 55% which is on the higher side. It would have been okay if the opening was higher but from the start it got it had to hold up better on Monday. Despite that solid Sunday jump for the film there was always a chance that the limited Saturday growth would make it tough on the weekdays. The film may be a commercial action comedy film but its on the urban side so it had to be big city multiplexes that drove the film and they are best on Saturday so a big Saturday becomes a must which did not happen with Dishoom. The falls are there practically all over with UP being hit hardest. The first four day figures for Dishoom are as follows.
Friday - 11,00,00,000
Saturday - 11,75,00,000
Sunday - 14,25,00,000
Monday - 4,75,00,000
TOTAL - 41,75,00,000
Dishoom is probably heading for a first week of around 52-53 crore nett. There is an open week next week so if it can hold well today (Tuesday) and again on Friday then it could push itself to the average mark but that is a best case scenario.
