so reports are saying deepika has finished filming, i think she finished a few weeks ago wen we started seeing her again attending events, ranveer and shahid still hav portions left to film, and deepika has provided 5 days for any patchwork if needed, but patchwork will only be done after ranveer and shahid hav finished filming, well this is wat Hindustan Times is reporting

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati has been in news ever since it has been announced. The movie made headlines because of the disruption that happened on the movie's sets in Jaipur.

Activists of Karni Sena disrupted the shoot and also misbehaved with Bhansali on the allegations for distorting history. Later, some miscreants also damaged the costumes and jewellery by setting them on fire during their Kolhapur schedule of the movie.

After all the disturbances, Deepika Padukone, who plays the role of Rani Padmini, has finally wrapped up her part of the shoot.

According to a leading agency, a source said, "Deepika has wrapped filming for her part. The actress has reserved additional three to five days for any patchwork if required. Patch work will be shot only after Ranveer and Shahid have finished shooting their respective portions."

In a recent Twitter interaction with her fans, the Bajirao Mastani actor had said that Padmavati as the most challenging role of her career.

The film features Deepika as Rani Padmini, alongside Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapoor as Rana Rawal Ratan Singh.

Good for deepika at least she has done movie unlike ranveer who is unaware when he will get free from this movie shot shahid can wait because he has no movies in hands so ranveer losing time

Thankyou for posting 😊 . Looks like she is done, she was not spotted out at all for the last few months while shooting was going on.

RS- SK have portions left. I wonder whats the status now after the Mumbai rains..

shahid it seems is still on vacation, he is at a wedding in hong kong and we havent seen him arrive back in mumbai, havent seen ranveer out and about yesterday or today, so don't know if he has started filming or not, ranveer has said he has major chunks left to film for young khilji, coz from wat i remember he only shot 1-2 days for young khilji a few weeks ago, so alot of those scenes r left for him to film, i think shaid only has a battle sequnce left to film as it was also reported he been doing fight training before he left for vacation

The dates for the much awaited film of the year, Padmavati, has been set finally. Makers have been waiting for so long to finish the movie in time and with disruption in schedules thanks to protests and on-set mishaps, there have been talks that Padmavati will not meet its initial release date. This period- romance stars Deepika Padukone,Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles and will now go on the floors on November 17. This period movie is directed by Bollywood's renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actors Jim Sarbh and Aditi Rao Hydari also play important roles in the movie.

To ensure the film's look great, Bhansali wanted an extended six month period for the movie release but now it seems everything has fallen into the place. This will be the first time Ranveer Singh will be playing a negative role since his first movie Band Baaja Baarat'. Rani Padmini is played by Deepika Padukone, while Shahid Kapoor is playing her husband Raja Rattan Singh, the king of Mewar. This is the first time that Shahid and Deepika are being paired in a movie and it's definitely going to be interesting to watch them sharing a screen.

Shahid who plays Padmavati's husband and the Maharaja of Mewar, is filming high octane war scenes at the moment. On the same lines, Deepika Padukone is expected to wrap up her shoot by August as the film inches towards wrap by October-end. Ranveer Singh's look is highly guarded from the movie and has completed his parts already for this upcoming hindi movie.

The movie was in much hype due to it's controversial topic and when the first schedule in Jaipur was abruptly cut short by members of Rajput Karni Sena. but with the strikes how cud she hav filmed anything in the last few weeks? so i think she finished around august 13th, thats why we saw her going for dubbing sessions and meeting the team of her next project sapna didi, ranveer was supposed to start filming again last week but cudnt coz of the strikes

its being reported tho that the whole film will finish filming by october 20th, dont know how true that is coz that seems pretty late

Oh .. Ok, Hopefully Shahid will return soon😊. I think Ranveer wasn't spotted coz of the Mumbai rains, certain areas are flooded and transportation is difficult too.

RS will be the last one to finish shoot , as per articles it was said he l shoot till october. so they still have time 😊

yeh rs has the largest amount of shoot left to film, shahid has a battle sequence left to film, but cud they continue filming into October and get post production ready aswell? october 20th seems pretty late, but lets see, i think most filming will be done in September and maybe using the first week of October, but if they r able to continue till October 20th and still get the movie ready on time then that wud be great

apparently the strikes r still on, dont know wen they will finish and wen filming can continue

But as per the articles it was said that strike has affected only partly before they used to cloak in 18 hours but it has come down to 10 owing to reduced manpower . shooting has been continuing .. Even if they finish it by 20th It will be fine I think. Post production is being done simultaneously so there wont be much delay once they finish.

Trailer I think is already ready. We just need an announcement now .. PRETTY SOON PLEASE.

oh, i thought that the strike meant they couldnt film at all, but if wat ur saying is true, that instead of 18 hrs they can only film for 10 hrs, then why hasn't ranveer started? he was supposed to start 1-2 weeks ago, reports hav seen saying that he cudn't start coz of the strike

anyway lets see, we don't really know wats going on as we hav no solid updates, all we can do is wait
