"Kangana Ranaut-Sanjay Leela Bhansali Not in talks for Padmavati," Says SLB's Spokesperson!

Rumour mill has been incessantly buzzing that Kangana Ranaut is in talks with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali - to be cast in and as Padmavati - his recently announced magnum opus. However, official sources confirm that there is no truth to the reports. 🤣

Sources reveal that Kangana never approached SLB for the role contrary to the rumors and though the director has high regard for her as an actress, the talks were never on between them.

When contacted, Bhansali's spokesperson clarified, " There is absolutely no truth to the rumors doing the rounds. While Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Kangana Ranaut admire each other as artists and have mutual respect for one another , there has been no discussion on Padmavati contrary to what is being reported."

Another rumour bites the dust. 😆 😆

As for now, Deepika Padukone will be seen in the titular role. 😈

DP's PR can take a rest now. 😡

B-town's reigning Queen and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali are apparently working together on a contemporary husband-wife love story

They're both sentimental, temperamental, perfectionist and constantly on the lookout for something new. So when a tinsel town birdie informed us that actor Kangana Ranaut and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently broke bread and exchanged pleasantries, we knew there was something cooking. Buzz is that Sanjay and Bollywood's reigning Queen have been speaking about a project - a contemporary movie, we hear.

Apparently, the two have had early meetings to discuss the film subject. "Sanjay is expanding the number of films that he produces and directs. Apart from the project that he announced with Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Kaushal, he has discussed a contemporary love story about a husband and wife with Kangana. Details of the film are still taking shape," the source says. We've tried reaching out to both but no response.

It's no secret that Sanjay and Kangana have always been keen to work with each other. Kangana, who holds the distinction of leading parts in films sans popular heroes, will carry director Hansal Mehta's Simran on her petite shoulders. A venture with Bhansali will certainly take Kangana to dizzying heights, even as some of her contemporaries slip into their Louboutins and paint the town red (nothing she wouldn't do, BTW). Well, this is a meeting of the minds that makes us hope for good things cinema-wise. Guess, the old chestnut about creativity and sentimental values rings true.

So? Kangu baby could be lobbying for Padma too😆.. Is mein itni kia bari baat hai? Like news came that Kat was lobbying for Tubelight but then news came k she is doing another movie of Kabir and not tubelight..

People like to give more credit to DP's PR than they actually deserve to be honest.. Itna kaam bhi nahi karte wo😆
