Both men and women can be raped. One doesn't need to be penetrated to be raped. Anything sexual against their will is rape. That includes but not limited to, groping, kissing, fingering, etc.

Men rape women and men rape other men too. It's the men who are doing these things. So many men gets raped in prison by other men

It got me thinking now . Rape is suddenly so taboo . I didnt really gel with what Salman said . It was pretty bone headed

But lots of shows make jokes about Rape . Soap Operas make Rapists into heroes . If rape is so taboo Should we abandon all that ?? 😲😲

Rape is rape and it is wrong, abusive irrespective of who it happens to and who this is used for.

Male rape is ignored and stigmatised. Salman should have been slammed for furthering stigma on issue of rape of males had he used the word man instead of woman.

Don't think he is being criticised only by women or feminists. The problem is trivialising a serious issue like rape and using a heavily laden term as a joke.

Shameful to joke about it or use such analogies.

I can't believe people are still reducing it to just man or woman and refusing to realise main issue about trivialising rape and promoting rape culture.
