It's like once any rumor/reality starts, it remain forever atleast here on Internet. It's not possible to remove it. This kjo thing happened when he was young and there was no internet era or PR thing. He was married with Gauri and had 2 kids, he can't do anything more to prove he is a straight. Is there any medical test to prove you are straight? There is nothing he could do.

During intolerance controversy there were articles in his favor but in that case he was right. He Didn't say anything wrong and people were speaking in his favor but he and his PR used this 'intolerance' excuse to cover up under performance of Dilwale.

PC matter is not too old and he tried all antics to prove himself a family man, even brought abram in this world reason best known to him. Many articles are there with 'aww this pic of abram with father will melt your heart' 'another pic with aryan will give you goose bump' and many more. His kids are more famous, every website has something to write on 'he is a good father' essay to prove him a family man. Otherwise why no one writes on kids of Ajay, akshay, aamir etc?

He used to bang Rani, Preity, Juhi but that was for fun, with PC mater was quiet serious, KJO and Gauri both were miffed with PC, but matter disappeared like it never existed.

Coming to charity, many actors are doing it without informing world like nana patekar, ajay and akshay. They dont need charity to prove anything. It's only salman who keep promoting his charity and he has a valid reason for that, he needs that charity to save his ass in court. Others don't have any serious case going against them.

See with any big star, they have a lot of 'pull' in what gets published. The whole Kjo thing was allowed to flow free without any hindrance. With pressure tactics they could have limited how much stuff (even blinds) got printed about him. Also, you can put out articles that hint that so-and-so is out to damage him due to personal reasons. Proving he is gay or straight was never the issue. Managing the image was, And they failed. Where did the rumours even start ? They should have fixed the source. If Kjo/srk's statements in public were a problem, they should have been told what to say. They should have increased gauri's visibility. So many things i can think of and i am not even in the field. They have more options i'm sure


Dilwale was shitty film and using 'intolerance' to cover it up was a bad move = bad PR. When everyone slams your film, when anyone with a brain knows that your product is bad then why waste goodwill justifying it ?


Apart from that, his social media side is badly managed. Whenever SRK's movie is about to get released there is so much negativity around it on social platforms. Even IF salman's hard core fans are doing it, then his PR need to up their game and make sure the +ve is more than the -ve


His 'father image' like you mentioned is the one thing they have done right.

People still call salman criminal how far his PR tried hence his PR sucks !!!but in case of srk no one remembers he is a gunda and overnight he became THE GLOBAL KING !!!thats called a good PR strategy 👏

You are generally a smart person but when it comes to Ash you act like a 2 year old.

So, the SRK-KJo rumors were essentially made fun of...SRK went everywhere and turned it into a big joke. He didn't brush it under the carpet. Gauri, Kajol, everyone else used to sit there and laugh about the rumors like they were the funniest thing they'd ever heard. There was the whole Kantaben skit in KHNH too. It's hard to take a rumor seriously if others, especially his wife, are just laughing about it. IMHO, it was handled well. There wasn't active PR at this time like today anyways.
