Was just watching blunt force trauma and was surprised to see Freida Pinto doing a topless scene. Whatever happened to her? Wasnt she supposedly billed as the next big thing in bollywood? I also remember she has strict no nudity clauses in her contracts and was pretty ocd about it.

She was supposed to do NH10 but she was being difficult and then dropped out. I don't think she's keen to work in Bollywood and am not sure if there is a place for her amidst all the other actresses.

Slum dog millionaire gave her a real good head start in Hollywood. She failed to capitalise on it and people there probably moved on. Even Dev Patel did after years of dating. The foreign exotic girl tag didn't hold the attention for long it seems.

Don't know about her doing NH 10 , if she missed out on it then it's sheer stupidity on her part. The movie could have helped her to restart her career in Bollywood to some extent.

TBH I never got the hype around Freida to begin with. She is neither beautiful nor a good actress !! She was the least impressive one in SM but go the most hype🤔

Agreed .. She benefitted the most per se in terms of going from unknown face in Mumbai to an exotic import from India and that's about it. Also what she did to her bf was mean.

HW would always be a white town. When someone with the talent and looks of Lupita cannot land big roles despite an Oscar and is doing CGI for Starwars and theater where is Freida ? She is neither sexy like Penelope and Salma nor is she that talented. The fact that she lasted so long is a miracle.
