i dont understand why everyone is pressed over budget .this is not a small movie where everything depends on theatrical release .

A movie has to earn eveything grom Indian collections only other incomes like satellite rights, brand tie ups, music rights profits etc. are for producers not for theaters owners they don't get anything from that. Thats why there are articles producers making profit before movie releases.

It has to recover its budget n make money for distributors which they have paid that needs to be earn back solely on BO collection.

While its right that FAN has not collected on BO and is struggling to break even but to say its disaster is ridiculous. Disaster is when NO one knows the movie released and everything about the movie is thrashed. There is Nothing to gain from the movie. No story, No songs, NO acting, no direction, nothing. Critics thrash it like anything. BUT FAN has got resounding applause from critics, even the hardest nuts, and the public ( those who watched liked it) appreciated SRK acting and movie. FIrst movie to have NO song or love interest in traditional sense. It was different but that does not mean its disaster.

That was Salman's worst phase. Whatever he touched during that time doesn't bring in much apart few. His career started off better than srk . after the case his career went downhill. And after Wanted & Dabangg he just rose on another level.

Whereas, srk started with flop career and later after few years he started to shine. He was more recognize and was above the other 2 khans and now again he facing downhill. Certainly, this current time not belong to him. Whatever he touch does not bring in profit in a needed way.

Yes commercially its not done well at BO but that does take away any of SRK's credentials.
