She had been a brilliant actress. If anyone has a doubt, go watch Milli for one. She has so many brilliant performances in her kitty. She could have achieved much more if it wasn't for her marriage and her family's sake.

story of abhimaan could have become story of their life,had AB not got Zanjeer and had she not stopped working for family/kids sake.she only worked in one movie in 80s for her good friend sanjeev kumar and also Silsila casue AB and Yash chopra convinced her.

I would have too see Ki and Kaa now.
Jaya as everyone said is absolutely brilliant actress. I mean that movie forgot its name with that song, teri bindiya re, Amitabh IMO gave his best performance ever, and still Jaya topped it.

She truly was the best part of the movie - her expressions were priceless! I loved her voiceover when Kareena reads the letter written by Jaya to her as well. Truly an outstanding actress - the one role that hasn't been mentioned yet that I personally thought she was outstanding in was her role in Kora Kaagaz. She was really good in the role of the naive girl who gets manipulated by her mother easily. 👍🏼
