Amitabh Bachchan is known to send handwritten notes and bouquets when he's blown away by an actor's performance. In fact, this gesture if his has become a barometer for a scintillating performance. Ranveer Singh who recently received a similar note after Bajirao Mastani is said to have kept it safely in a bank locker. And now, the latest star to be bestowed with the honour is none other than Kareena Kapoor Khan. Bachchan is said to have loved Bebo in Ki & Ka. He felt her portrayal of a hotshot career woman was spot on. And hence the handwritten note and a bouquet. Kareena is said to be over the moon after receiving such appreciation. We don't blame her.

I asked this very question when others were saying Deepika should get NA and others like KJO congratulated others, but not her (he might have now IDK or in private). Turns out Big B sent her a note and flowers for Queen in English. For TWMR long before any award, he sent her two bouquets and two notes for Tanu and Datoo. It was in Hindi so she could share it with her parents who apparently don't know English. He wrote her a poem too and said he was fortunate to be a part of an industry she was a part of too. It apparently made her feel overwhelmed because she has very often felt like an outsider. I thought it was the sweetest thing.
