GOT: Whaaat??!? "Middle class & Veer???? 🤣 The boy who grew up wearing Piguet, Rolex watches & was given a Prado SUV by his father on the eve of his BW debut?? 🤣 🤣 No his family is very rich!

But yes he never ever gives anyone the impression that he's from money but he is. He's a very nice chap. My friend was friends with him for a year without knowing he's so rich, he went to his house for his b'day party in school & his jaw dropped. Lol.

The fact that people r shocked to find out Ranveer is from a rich business family shows that Ranveer doesn't give off a snobbish rich guy vibe, he doesn't show off the wealth his family hav and wud much rather work and earn his own money, Ranveer started working for a advertising agency at the age of 15-16, it shows he was always a hard worker

Ranveer is very simple at heart, he says he can live happily with just a few things in life, he is very grounded and humble

@GOT: Also it helps to portray the outsider 😉 even though he isn't one, he is. He was thought to be crass, vulgar etc when he first entered the industry. I believe that though he is unaware of this, but girls used to show much more interest in him when they came to know he was from a rich family. Maybe he just uses the fact that many believe him to be from a middle class family, to his advantage. 😆 He's the sort of chap who will sit at a dhaabaa wearing a kurta & just play with your mind. 😆 😆

I dont think tries to portray himself as middle class, Ranveer just naturally doesn't show off his families wealth, he is so down to earth that people assume that he's from a middle class background

Plus Ranveer is very private bout his family, he doesn't talk bout them a lot

Ya the Kapoors & Ofc the Padukones don't have much when compared to Veer. The Ps are out of contention in this aspect so I'll talk about the Ks. People believe them to be very rich but they arent. Now their wealth is returning thanks to RK, RK Sr & NSK but the studio is divided & so are the other properties. I don't mean to say they aren't rich, Ofc they are.. But RS & family are richer no doubt. Which is why I find it so amusing when people keep saying how DP is a catch, bla bla bla. Not to say his wealth makes him a catch. But it's an important added factor for sure. To find a genuine, very nice, deeply loving, well-mannered, well-educated RICH man in Life, forget BW, is extremely, extremely RARE. <3
