Why couldn't Priyanka Chopra meet Deepika Padukone in Toronto?

In an interview with a leading daily, Priyanka Chopra opened up about her plans of meeting Deepika Padukone and why it hasn't happened yet!

Clearly Sanjay Leela Bhansalis period drama, Bajirao Mastani was very lucky for the divas of the film. Deepika Padukone received immense acclamation for her performance as the astoundingly beautiful Mastani and also got a Hollywood action flick signed! Maybe the xXx team too loved DP's fiesty avatar. Priyanka Chopra on the other hand too won a lot, and by that I mean, A LOT of acclaim here in the Indian Cinema as well as internationally! Not only did she bag a lot of awards for Bajirao Mastani but she also bagged the People's Choice Awards for her Hollywood television series, Quantico and signed her first Hollywood film as well. So basically she's been riding high on her career throne and we're so lovin' it.

Currently since both the divas, Deepika and Priyanka, are in US, shooting for their respective films, we hoped for them to meet up and share a little friendly time. But that's not happening for sometime now. *sadness* Turns out PeeCee and Dippy had plans to meet up in Toronto as the Quantico actress had an event to attend there. However, the event got cancelled and thanks to their busy schedule, it'll be difficult for them to make time to meet up! In an interview with a leading daily, this is what Priyanka said, "She is shooting in Toronto while I am in Montreal which are two different parts of the country. I was supposed to be in Toronto for an event but it got cancelled. I hope we get to meet." Now that's just too damn bad!
