it also ended her flop run at the B.O.

Dor was criticailly acclaimed nd ayesha walked away with all the applause,this film also earned her award nominations nd screen award for best actress

Beyond amazing is bit much😆 But yeah I agree she was better than Deepika in Cocktail.

Deepika was good as party girl but when it became serious she was mostly hamming.

This is an unfair comparison because Dor is a far superior film. I think both did well, but I tend to like Ayesha a little more because there was a hint of artifice in Cocktail (like it goes with all of commercial films) and that hampered Deepika's performance (or vice versa), but Dor was very earthy and real. Ayesha did this one really well.

Well now I gotta check out this movie 😆...I really liked Ayesha when she was active in BW. Thought she would make it big
