4000 fans and 200 media persons: That's the invitee list for Shah Rukh Khan's Fan trailer launch!

YRF will be launching the first theatrical trailer of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan amidst much fanfare today!

The day has finally come! It's time for the Fan trailer to hi the digital forums. YRF has special plans in store for everyone. What's it? The production house plans to launch the first theatrical trailer amidst much fanfare.

Shah Rukh Khan's Fan trailer will be unveiled in about a few hours from now and the production house is busy putting everything in place. A huge stage is being set up at the YRF studios with a lot of photographs of SRK. From his good old TV days to his early Bollywood days and now, the stage will be filled with some of the rarest pictures of the superstar.

Not just that, the team has opened the gates of YRF for their fans. For the first time ever. With an invitation given out to everyone to come and join the fun, YRF has brought in an interesting marketing campaign for sure. Catering to all fandoms, it will be nice to see SRK launch the trailer in front of his fans, something that has never happened before.

A source tells us, "Almost 4000 people will be allowed to go in and enjoy the entire event. Along with the fans, 200 media personnel including journalists and camera people have also been invited to be a part of the glitzy affair."

That's not enough. YRF has now given some strong guidelines for all the fans who plan to visit the studios for the launch today. Here are the dos and don'ts that you need to follow.

So in case you plan to be a part of the Fan trailer launch, you better keep these guidelines in mind!

The story behind Shah Rukh Khan's Fan

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to release the trailer of his much awaited film Fan; one that has been in the pipeline for over a year now.

When the movie was announced, all that we knew was that the movie will feature SRK in a double role - one will be of superstar Aryan Khanna and other of Aryan's fan, Gaurav. In the title track Jabra Fan, Gaurav was seen in an adorable avatar; singing praises of his onscreen idol and expressing his adulation for the superstar.

But, there were reports doing rounds that there is a twist in the story of the film, and Gaurav will eventually turn against Aryan. However, nothing was confirmed.

YRF released the new poster of Fan today where Gaurav was seen in a fierce avatar, very similar to that of Shah Rukh's character in Darr. But, that wasn't the only similarity we noticed.

In 1996, a Hollywood movie named 'Tha Fan' was released in which Robert De Niro was obsessed with a baseball star. However his adulation took an ugly turn when his idol's performance nosedived and then the fan kidnapped the idol's son and blackmailed him to perform better.

Even though SRKs Fan is not likely to feature any kidnapping, Gaurav's adulation for Aryan Khanna will take an untoward turn and the two will be against each other; and that plot is bound to be nail biting.

With only a few hours to go for the trailer, let's see if our hunch turns out to be correct!
