While Rajamouli had hinted about the conclusion in the first part itself that it will release in 2016, later there were few changes in the plans. The release of the film kept shifted and there were huge speculations around its release. A few months ago news was rife that BAAHUBALI: The Conclusion will hit the screens in January 2017. Then, we heard about it getting preponed and clashing with Aamir Khan's DANGAL. However, nothing seemed confirmed and it raised the curiosity level around the film's release.

Nevertheless, the fans across the globe can heave a sigh of relief now, as the release of BAAHUBALI 2 is finally out. Yes, Prabhas, the lead actor of BAAHUBALI franchise, took to a micro-blogging site and unveiled the release date of the keenly anticipated film.

He wrote, "#Baahubali2 release date confirmed: 14 April 2017 [Good Friday]. #Prabhas @BaahubaliMovie."

Indeed, it will be a good friday for all the fans!

So the patrons gear up for the year 2017, as the BIGGEST question Aakhir Kattappa Ne BaahuBali Ko Kyu Maara'? (Why did Kattappa Kill Bahubali?) will be resolved on 14 April 2017!

But still not sure because of 2 things in all the articles I saw..1) Prabhas is not on Twitter.. and 2)they wouldn't announce the release date, like this.. with 1 Tweet, that too not from their official movie account..

Anyways, I am sure Shobu garu/Baahubali Twitter page would confirm or deny this soon.. so let's wait and see..
