Deep wants to be an actor. Not a star. He doesn't have a PR to who exploits his relationships, his daily life or any aspect of it.
Hes very low-key & doesn't exploit his friendships for his personal or profess gain. Also, hes not BW ambitious which means to be manipulative, cruel & ruthless to the extreme. And of course, being an outsider does him NO favours. 😡
Hes far more talented than most young actors, on the level of Ranveer & Ranbir. But he marches to the beat of his own drummer & refuses to march to anyone else's. Too proud to bend to anyone's will & I admire him for that. He has crazy screen presence & one can easily see how he chews the screen up. <3 coupled with his HOT looks & ☺️deep baritone; its extremely unfair that he doesn't climb the top of the BW Pack.
He was excellent in Highway, much better than Alia. What works in his favour is that his looks & talent is such, he can mold himself to any form, any persona!!! He can do a Highway playing a low rung on the totem pole & a Rang Rasiya, where he played an aristrocratic painter. He was excellent there too. And very seductive. ☺️ Most convincing.
Very few actors can do that barring Ranveer. But he wont ever be a top star like Ranveer, Ranbir etc. I agree with the poster who said he will go the Irrfan way. I hope he does & goes to HW. Hes truly talented. <3
