As a huge Ileana fan, I've noticed that she doesn't have too large a following here on IF, be it because she has just joined BW or maybe there aren't too many TW fans here.
Anyway, are there any Ileana fans here? What do you like about Ileana? Anything you dislike?
I love everything about Ileana, from her eyes and smile (that scene from Jalsa where Pavan Kalyan is teaching her to throw a smile with her eyes drives me crazy 🤪), to her acting.
While her first three BW films - Barfi, PPNH, and Main Tera Hero were all great films, I couldn't help but notice that her role in MTH was somewhat lame. She acted great and all, but I think she needs to be getting more meaty roles, especially since she has a huge backing in the south and had hit things off with Barfi.
A part of me does immensely miss her in South Indian films (I'm not from the south, but I developed a love for those films after watching Ileana in those films). While it is rare for a woman to be the lead actor (as in everything revolves around her), I do hope to see her play roles like Anushka Shetty did in Arundhati and Rudramadevi in the south, or Fashion (PC) or maybe even in biopics. I'd also like to see her play double roles. Above all, I hope she gets amazing scripts. She is a wonderful actress, one of the best in my personal opinion, and has tremendous potential in BW. After all she was immensely popular in the south.
