17 years of KKHH!

We've lost count of the times we've quoted dialogues from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and compared our situations to those of Rahul, Anjali and Tina. It's been 17 years and this blockbuster film still manages to fill us with as much joy and hope as it did back in the day.The movie was a super-hit to such an extent that Anjali's hairstyle did to India what Jennifer Aniston's hairstyle in F.R.I.E.N.D.S had done to the majority of the West. The leading pair along with their uber stylish director have given us many blockbuster movies but this film remains a special one because it was the first time that the power trio of SRK-Kajol-KJo came together and how! There aren't many movies that manage to command such attention for so many years but Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is definitely one of them.

It took home multiple trophies at the 44th Filmfare Awards and deservedly so. Leading lady Kajol was accompanied on her big night by mother Tanuja and grandmother Shobhna. King Khan set the stage on fire grooving to the chartbusting KKHH numbers.

This Filmfare cover of the dynamic duo was shot by Gautam Rajadhakshya on the same night. The atmosphere was abuzz with laughter and oodles of happiness and that particular brand of super stardom that only SRK and Kajol can pull off. It's an iconic cover befitting an iconic duo and it's our ode to a film that we're truly thankful for.
