so the film has got the U/A certificate! that goes to show its not an adult film, its a film the whole family can watch, yes it has kisses but every film has kisses nowadays, this film doesn't go beyond a kiss

Befikre got a U/A certificate and Ranveer Singh is very happy with the same.

One of the biggest roadblocks in the release of Befikre has now been cleared with CBFC granting the movie a U/A' certificate, a news confirmed by Ranveer Singhhimself. At the song launch of Befikre, Ranveer said, "They (CBFC) have seen the movie, and we also got a U/A certificate. We have got the certificate in our hands. We are very happy."The actor went ahead to clarify that the film despite all its kisses is very Indian at heart. "Iss film ka jo dil hai woh desi hai. And if you go to see the vision of filmmaker Aditya Chopra itself, in his very first song that he released Labon ka Karobaar, it's an attempt to show a kiss in a very different way.

Praising the CBFC for granting the film a U/A, Ranveer said, "I think the censor has also aligned to the fact that in our film a kiss is shown with a same kind of warmth as a hug. We are happy that we got this certificate and it is a family film. And I would just say that everyone should go and watch this happy film."

lol its all part of the strategy 😉 showing the kisses gav the movie lots of attention, gud or bad, it still got the attention, thats why the trailer has over 30 million views

but as we can see from the stuff released now the movie has some kisses but that isn't wat its all about, they cud hav easily just released the posters where there were no kisses which they released recently, but like i said its about strategy

also they still havent given away the story

I know it gets attention but family audience(who is Adi Chopra's biggest strength) is gonna avoid it right? Also showing soo many kisses makes it kissfest when it is not..I hope they dont release any more kiss or sex scene rather focus on content..

well they havent released any other kiss stuff, all the kiss stuff we hav already seen, the recent posters they released had no kisses, even the song promos hardly hav any kisses

i think if the kisses were done in a vile or offensive way then they wud hav been cut, but the fact the cbfc left them in the film and gav a u/a certifcate shows the movie is not like that

i dont know why adi chose to release all the kiss stuff at the start, like i said maybe it was his strategy to get attention, but at the end of the day the film will only work if it gets decent wom and if people enjoy it
