This is the best part :D

Anyways, it's a big film for Ranveer. Congrats to him! From the video, it's obvious this means a lot to him. For Ranveer's sake I hope it's the AdiC of DDLJ making this and not the AdiC of everything else.

Ranveer is repulsive onscreen .. AdiC needs to save his career and prove a point about his protege as most of the Yrf protgs are already out of the race

Woohoo! Ranveer is the lead! His dream has come true of working with adi Chopra! So happy! :)
and the way ranveer spoke in the video shows how much this means to him, this is not just a film, its something ranveer has wanted since he joined yrf, adi chopra is his mentor and i am so happy that adi has the faith in ranveer to star in his fim 😊

Chopra, he was offered Bombay Velvet and Shuddhi. And yet there seems to be a perception that the industry ignores Ranveer over starkids. I beg to differ...

that's factually incorrect. for all those movies, he was not the 1st choice. So, it can be said industry ignored him...for 5 odd years, he survived on leftovers and made some of them a success and in others, he grabbed attention... now Adi is the first director to take him directly without offering the movie to anyone else😊

Some rotlu Ranveer fans keep whining about how Ranbir gets all the plum projects being a star kid and poor RS is ignored all the time lol if u look at his filmography he has worked with some of the best directors and PHs, unfortunately he couldn't make the most out of it ... hope the whining will stop now.

First choice or not he still got them, meaning industry does recognise his talent. Not a Ranveer hater, he's a good actor and I wish him well, just stating my opinion. Don't think being an outsider has disadvantaged him that much, he's gotten great opportunities.

And the best part- Ranbir despite having both critical and commercial success is accused of getting projects only because of his surname by keeping in mind the flops he delivered but Ranveer getting projects despite not having much commercial success equates to ppl recognising his talent and the fact tht he has so much potential 😆

On topic, I have nothing against Ranveer. I hope AdiC comes up with a decent story atleast for Ranveer's sake. He is still a lot better than KJo IMO so there is hope 😆
