Yes; its my most awaited movie of 2016 ahead of Dangal even.
I just hope that they stays as true to the orignal as possible in its story and character traits. Pip should behave like Pip. I am fine with the changes they have done with the settings and career paths; but that should be it. The Kashmir backdrop will add its own beauty to the plot just like it did with Haider.
Another thing; it has to be Noor's story just as it is Pip's in the book. It should tell of his life and how it came to be. What made him who he is and what left a l lasting effect on him?? This is where Estella comes in. Her rejection, Pip's eternal love for her is molds Pip into the wonderful man he is at the end.
The fact that Adi has been shooting non stop and Katrina finished a while ago gives me hope. His part looks to be the most of all cast.
The last thing this needs is to be the typical lame BW love story. The essence of the what Dickens wrote would be destroyed from the word go in that case which is crime in my book.
PS: Noor(Pip) shouldnot in anyway turn out to be filthy rich in the end. If that happens I am going to smash the screen😆. They will ruin the whole dynamic of Pip's and Estella's relationship.
