Does Parineeti attract unwanted attention by talking about her weight?

Was just watching some HTP promotion videos and I realised that Parineeti brings too much attention to the fact that she is not the conventional Bollywood looker. I think she does it to be humble, but in such a mean industry, I think she just gives people more ammunition to use against her.

I have seen reporters being very rude to her about her weight and not giving her even common courtesy. Do you think it's because she's a bit TOO approachable?

I think she attracts unnecessary attention to her appearance by constantly talking about her weight, not being glamorous etc. These are things she should work on privately, and maybe talk about once she becomes a star, not right now. Unfortunately, humility is appreciated in superstars, so her self-deprecatory attitude doesn't seem to be serving her too well.

Her personality is to talk about her insecurities. She is open. She says anything and doesn't have a filter which can be a bad thing. Other actresses have similar insecurities but just don't talk about it. That is the difference I think. When she talks about these things however, it draws a negative perception about her. If she keeps on saying she isn't good looking or makes comments about her weight-people will start thinking about her like that even though it is not true. In the beginning of her career she had more confidence I think and wasn't insecure about the way she looked or her weight-this has changed I think. She is an attractive girl and is talented so it is annoying when she makes comments like this. It sets a bad example to normal girls who look up to her. Looks are also subjective.

She feels that people pay too much attention to her weight but that is mostly what she talks about herself anyways.
