The beginning sounds like mere rang me rangne wali to me as well.

Jane, the chorus of the song ripped off Final Countdown.

EDIT: just listened to mere rang mein rangne wali again, the base beat is Final Countdown, the rest sounds like this song.

Yeah I just listened to it, and the intro is used in the song.

It probably is something else. While I listened to this (Love Strory), I automatically started humming along to the tune, and I had never heard this song before at least I don't think so. So there probably is some famous song inspired directly from this which I can't think of. I let it go. Then five minutes later while I sipped my tea, I started humming Mere Rang Mein. So I guessed.

Do you guys really think Mere Rang Mein is similar to this song? The beats are so different, it doesn't sound like it to me. I've been listening to both songs side-by-side😲
