I loved Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It was an absolutely delight. I took my parents, this was their first movie in the theater in 30 odd years, they loved it a lot.

'Pata karo yeh saala Boo Ali kaun hai'. 🤣

PK was good as well but loses huge points from because of the Anushka casting. Her messed up face was just annoying to look at.

I think PK had a great story and it started off well as well. But it got repetitive after a while. And I think having watched the akshay kumar starrer OMG before,I somehow didnt like PK as much. However it had great punch lines all throughout. And Raju Hirani still continues being one of my most favourite film makers. But I'd take a munnabhai or 3Idiots over PK any given day.

But as a whole,BB was better. The story was really touching. It was heart-felt and left you with a heavy heart by the end. I think this is the only Sallu film I have liked in a really long time. Sallu as Pawan was adorable. And Harshali that cute lil princess! And Nawaz. I love that guy. This movie had these 'moments' and there is a tug in your heart.

I'm not being Biased,

I praised PK a lot on this forum. I saw that film 3 times in theatres cause I was in my homeland so it was like possible to.

I had enjoyed that film. It was something fresh, Aamir had done a fantastic job.

but now, Bajrangi Bhaijaan doesn't compare. Bajrangi is a far better film then PK in terms of direction, screenplay, music, and soul. EVERYTHING basically. Both films were dragged and could have been cut short by 15 minutes. Still, Bajrangi leads this race.

Pk was a very different film, it had it's humor, and again Aamir did a great job thus the film fared so well.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a different class all together. It connects each individual and drags them along until the last scene, and leaves you in tears. It may seem "unreal" at some points but the overall film wasn't unrealistic.

It was a very very realistic bollywood film. It has all components. Masala, Action, Drama and most importantly, realism which bollywood films lack. Moreover, Bajrangi Bhaijaan didn't disrespect any belief, any culture or religion. It promoted humanity to the highest ground. Where PK was a mock show on religions therefore, it sounded funny. Hindu laughed when Muslims were mocked, and Muslims laughed when Hindu God were mocked. That was PK's humour.

Kabir could have easily mocked religions, beliefs in Bajrangi like Hirani did in PK, but Kabir played his game so beautifully that everyones last impression on this film was "Humanity Above All" and gave a standing ovation to the team.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the BEST film Bollywood has made in this genre.

Salute the whole team.

Same here personal choice pk offered a far better massage than bb.

To me pk was a better movie because it covered a far important subject.. Now days everyone is going crazy over their religion.. So called the religious business managers are taking full advantage of that.. So movies like pk are needed to tell people we have brain and Intellgence to question things.. and we can make our own decisions..

Bb was great but now days it isn't politics or race or humanity that separates us.. It is these religions and religious mAnagers.. So that was the reason I liked pk more.. Omg was good but it was a bit toned down.. Pk was more aggressive and asked far important questions than omg..

I think bajrangi bhai jaan(BBJ)is appealing to all BBJ as in Bachche Buddhe aur Jawaan unlike PK which had some 'adult' stuff..my 8 year old nephew kept asking my poor sis why those cars were moving and my sis had no answer 😆 So BB is loved by all age groups and a better movie IMO..

I had enjoyed PK a lot but I could not find it as fresh story. I found it as mixture of OMG and 3Idiots. It was kind of preachy too which I don't really like many times.

Where as BB has so fresh storyline. Direction and Screenplay was much better than PK. And it was all about drama and emotions not preachy vibe attached to it. At least I did not feel so.

Fo me its BB.
