This film is definitely unlike any of those typical "Sallu Bhai" films, like Bodyguard & Kick. This one has a heart & tht too in the right place. Yes the film is filled with cliches & predictability, but it is engaging & earnest.
The best part is not Salman, it is Harshaali & Nawazuddin. Both are brilliantly delicious & real stars of the film.
The only problem is that at 2hrs & 45 mins it is far too unnecessarily lengthy. The first half could have been trimmed quite a bit, as the charm of the film lies in its 2nd half.
All in all, it is a simple & definitely a tearjerker, if you are one to shed a tear or two easily & In that case you should be ready with tissues out.
For its predictability & "filmyness" And for its sweet innocent story & for Harshaali & Nawazuddin; I would give the film 3 out of 5. And yes, I enjoyed it!!
