Definition of success varies! If everyone was as successful as the 3 Khans, then we won't call the Khan's successful!😆

Shahid has done well for himself. The very fact that he has survived in the industry for more than a decade and is still getting films from big banners and good directors proves that he must have something in him. And its not like he is a superstar's son like Abhishek or a hot-shot producer's brother like Uday Chopra. He is an industry kid only in name.

I think Shahid has done reasonably well for himself. Everyone doesn't have to reach the Khan's level of success to be termed as successful.

Anyway, I have always found Shahid's script sense to be quite poor. I mean, what was he thinking rejecting films like Rang De Basanti ect? These types of films would have surely taken him into another league.

Exactly! Shahid's performance in JWM was very subtle and refined. I liked him more than Kareena and was disappointed he wasnt awarded for best actor that year.

Kareena's bubbly role was more obviously popular so she got all the awards but they also got the best pair award. They were the Yin and Yang.

JWM would have been nothing without Shahid's presence.

Yeah, because Shahid isnt interested in doing guest appearances just to say i have a long shelf life. Neither is he a page 3 addict or instagram creature. And it is by CHOICE.

It's a valid question. He's a great actor but the truth is his box office record and general hype around him is lower than what it should be after all these years. And he's not some art-house actor for whom box office doesn't matter, it does matter and he does need to deliver hits.

Basically he just didn't play his cards right, but he's still young and seems to have learnt from his mistakes so time will tell how big he makes it.

And it is shahids good fortune he got a beautiful intelligent wife, young looks, undeniable talent, he didnt do two minute roles for paisa or stardom,got it?
