Deepika talks about Ranbir(yet again) and Ranveer(her boyfriend) - Page 6

Deepika Padukone has two films releasing this year. One is Tamasha, with former boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor (Nov 27) and the other one is Bajirao Mastani (Dec 18) with Ranveer Singh, her current beau. She has delivered hits with both actors. So, who does she think she makes the best pair with, on-screen?

Deepika doesn't have an answer to that question. "Even I am confused about that. I worked with Ranbir first and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani became super-successful and everybody was like, Oh my God, you are the best on-screen couple'. And then Ram-Leela released and everyone said the same thing. Both pairs work equally well, l think. And of course, they are different kinds of films, but the reaction that I got to both was the same. So it's difficult to say what works better. I am like I am pretty lucky to be sitting in a place where it's not just one pair that the audience likes to see me with, but multiple ones."

Surely, her equation with Singh is better than that with Kapoor? Because for a while, she was finding it hard to forgive her ex. Is it all hunky-dory now? Deepika says, "I think our equation goes beyond the obvious and what people see. I think we came into each other's lives at a point where you are still young and get influenced by people in your life. So, he has definitely had some sort of effect on my life and I'd like to believe that I have had some sort of effect on his. So the equation is not just of co-stars, there is a bond or a friendship or something that will always exist. You know, we may not talk every day, we may not talk for six months. We have gone through another entire film together after that, but it's difficult to explain really what the equation is but I can definitely say it's beyond what is obvious."
