Yesteryears songs being repackaged for newer film releases is nothing new to Bollywood with a plethora of filmmakers opting to remake classical and sometimes cult tracks to lend a boost to their overall film score has become a common place approach. Now we hear that Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is in the process of acquiring the Pakistani track 'Akhiyan Nu Rehn De' for one of their upcoming production ventures.

Though the company Dharma Productions released a public notice about this acquisition from Pakistani company EMI, not much details of the track were or its future use was released. The original track that was sung by Pakistani folk singer Reshma. When contacted, Apoorva Mehta from Dharma said, "Yes we are in the process of acquiring 'Akhiyan Nu Rehn De', and are currently going through the formalities of acquisition." When prodded for further details, he revealed, "Currently we are acquiring the tracks with the intent to use the same in Dharma's upcoming film Kapoor & Sons. However let us see how things progress."

EMI was the official record label for Nazia and Zoheb Hassan so i am guessing its one of their tracks again.

We know what Alia and Sidharth did last night!

SpotboyE was hot on their heels

Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Alia and Karan Johar's blue-eyed boy Sidharth Malhotra saw a rough cut of their upcoming flick Kapoor and Sons.

The screening was held at the film's producer Karan Johar's office (Khar). The lovebirds came out from the Dharma office grinning ear to ear. Looks like they liked their movie.

After the movie was over, they sped off to Sidharth's flat.

Quite an outing this!

Ever since Alia Bhatt has teamed up with Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan for Kapoor and Sons, there has been lot of excitement around the project. The actors, who wrapped up the shoot of the film last month, teased the audience with their selfies and other pictures from the film set.

If you loved those candid pictures of the awesome trio then here's some good news for all you Sid, Alia and Fawad fans! A little birdie informs us that the first look poster and trailer of Kapoor and Sons is all set to be unveiled in the second week of February.

Directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the movie is all set to hit the screens on March 18, 2016.

LOL! Arjun Kapoor reveals first look of Kapoor and Sons

Karan Johar's Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan and Rishi Kapoor starrer Kapoor and Sons has been in the news for quite sometime now. And while the film releases in March 2016 and has kept the fans curious for its first look and trailer, Arjun Kapoor has shared the first look of the movie.

Before you guys get some more excited, let us tell you it is just a joke!

Arjun got on to twitter and shared a picture of his father Boney Kapoor and two uncles - Anil and Sanjay with photos of their sons including Arjun Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor and Jahaan Kapoor.

"Well @karanjohar I'm leaking ur new films first look...it's all in the family...@aliaa08 @S1dharthM @chintskap," posted Arjun.

While we wonder what KJo, Alia, Sidharth have to react, we surely can't stop laughing about this one.. What about you guys?

It has been a while since Kapoor and Sons wrapped up and the fans have been impatient to get a glimpse of their three favourite stars - Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan.

Now it seems, people have finally got reasons to rejoice as the awesome trio of the film have kickstarted the promotions of their forthcoming family drama.

Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan, who debuted on Instagram earlier in the day, shared a picture with his Kapoor and Sons co-stars with a caption that read, "#letsroll#KapoorAndSons #PromotionsBegin @aliaabhatt @s1dofficial."

Like revealed to you guys earlier, the first look and trailer of the film will be releasing in second week of February and the movie releases on March 18, 2016.
