I'm assuming many members here in IF are multiplex audience...so yeah..don't think it's really that surprising...considering the fact that he has built a fan base among these audience. 😃

Abhay has no following in real life. ZNMD was not hit due to him.

Dharmendra is the lord be it in popularity or BO - an all time legend. Sunny Deol's BO is not just decent but very good, and Abhay can never even dream of that kind of run. Bobby too has given hits on his own.

Abhay is just a critics' choice actor. The only film of his that's popular is Dev D. And even that's more popular due to music and quirky take on story than Abhay himself.

Abhay is usually laughed at (in real life). People get surprised thinking is he really a Deol? He is wimpy compared to Dharam, Sunny and Bobby.

I still maintain IF is the only place where Abhay would win any poll over any other Deol.
