Teri Meri of Bodyguard - entire Bodyguard album was good except for this , especially hated the alaap in the start 😵

Day 2: Song I Hate

Umbrella by Rihanna

Overrated, overplayed most annoying song in history. The "Eh Eh Eh" hook just sounds like a strangled cat that makes me want to go shoot a bullet in my head to make it stop. Rihanna has some good songs, but this is the worst. I don't know why this became one of her biggest hits.

Compare that to the Mandy Moore version that is a soulful version that does justice to the lyrics. The song is not ruined by Rihanna's exaggerated vocals or over sexualization.
