If all goes well, Boney Kapoor's son will play India's former cricket captain in a cricket film.
About a year ago, Celebrity Cricket League's MD Vishnu Vardhan Induri announced a film which would recount India's win in the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
The latest on the project is that Arjun Kapoor has been asked to essay Kapil Dev'spart.
Thirty one years ago, on June 25 1983, India won her first Cricket World Cup title. The image of captain Kapil holding the trophy high at the Lord's balcony is still fresh in memory.
A source close to the film says, "Arjun will be the right choice to play Kapil. Induri has met him and he is seriously considering the offer."
