Wow. He touched on a lot of personal aspects in this IV. I'm glad he's out of the Badlapur space. All of the stuff he mentioned sounds scary and totally not what Varun embodies. I am happy he took the role and journey up nevertheless. I like what he said about competition. And judging by his performances at award shows and him hanging out at parties - it looks like he's back to his old happy self again. And I like what he said about mending personal relationships. He got a lot of chastising for that "never marry an actress" comment. I'd also say... never say never.

I adored his friendship with Alia and all the masti they did during HSKD promotions. Their interviews are funnest!

But I saw a picture of him with Alia's mom, Soni Razdan from Filmfare so I'm sure they are okay. And I thought Alia was doing Shashank's movie too.

Oh yea, I'm sure it wasn't some ugly high school fight. Besides, it shows everyone's class and maturity that they are at the very least civil with each other. I'm sure if Alia runs into Varun's family or Varun himself it will be very nice.


Last time Alia was asked about a movie with Varun she said she didn't want to comment on it. It might just be a timing issue. She's busy with Udta Punjab and then Homi's film. Varun is finishing ABCD and then starting Rohit Shetty's. So if they do Shashank's it might not start till the fall.

Good interview...so he is in RS's next. Shashank Khaitan's next means yet another HSKD. 🤢
