Sushant Singh Rajput sure seems to be a fast learner. Barely four films old as an actor, he is getting increasingly comfortable with onscreen kissing. Reportedly the actor has a rather long kissing scene in his forthcoming film, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.The actor however claims that he was unaware of the kissing scene as his director Dibakar Banerjee did not tell him about it earlier.
When asked about the long kissing scene, the actor said, "I don't know about the duration but yes there's a kiss in the film. I didn't know about the kiss as Dibakar never told me about it. So when we were supposed to shoot for the scene, it came as a complete surprise to me. Interestingly, the best part of the scene was that me as Byomkesh Bakshy was also not anticipating the kiss so all those expressions and emotions came very organically, which was planned by Dibakar." Reacting to the sudden interest in the kissing scene in his upcoming film, Dibakar now is worried that the importance of the scene might be lost.
He said, "Ab hamesha yeh kiss ki stories ban jati hain. Ab main soch raha hun woh kiss kaat dunga. People will think just about the kiss and a very important scene will be missed so I am thinking of cutting off the kissing scene altogether." It may be recalled that before this, in his earlier films like Shuddh Desi Romance and PK, Sushant has already shared some really steamy kisses with his lead actresses. So undoubtedly, he is quite comfortable about onscreen kissing but according to sources, his girlfriend Ankita sure doesn't seem very happy about it. Now this steamy kiss with Swastika Mukherjee might just give him a new tag as a serial kisser. That is if Dibakar retains the scene!
