Why do Anuskha and Sonam not have a rivalry?

There doesn't seem to be an overlap in ther lives or careers. Even if they're competing for the same parts (which they are), their PRs don't hot below the belt the way DP's does. So there's always a nice cordial relationship between them. Plus, I feel like Anu and Sonam are very similair in that they get along quite well with the people they work with. And for awhile Anu was close with Ranveer and Arjun and they seem to be close to Sonam too. So I just don't see the rivalry on the personal front.

Professionally, I say give it a year or 2. Next year seems like Anushka's year to rise as a superstar and Sonam's future projects can give her that push that DP got in 2013.

I would have said the likely explanation is that Anu compliments any performance she likes- like she said she does eg. Cocktail but lately there seems to be a bhai-bhai connection between them on default of them having grouse with DP and the same bhai-bhai connection extends to their fans too. Just like Sonam sucking up to Kat and Anu-Kat's apparent camaraderie. Holy trinity of Anu-Kat-Sonam and their fans. 😆

And like others have said, there is only rivalry between those that can give takkar to one another, when/if Sonam makes it to that league we'll see. Otherwise back in 2011 when Sonam was still a contender in the race, Anu took a jibe about how she doesn't rely on link-ups or fashion to stay in the news and Sonam was giving her unwanted as usual gyaan how there's an actress that is considered anorexic but she eats well.

i can believe on DP-Anu being rivals bcz they r strong contendars but sonam is not close to them. she is not a threat to any1. plus sonam's hatred for DP is always visible. her offscreen personality makes me dislike sonam.

I don't think their paths have ever crossed. Never heard of them lobbying for the same film. Or guy. In fact the 2 guys Anushka has been linked with, Ranveer and Arjun, are Sonam's cousins! So question of rivalry has never come up.

Anushka and Sonam have been friends since BBB. Remember, Ranveer and Sonam are cousins. You'll see her a lot of her parties she threw for Arjun Kapoor. Where Ranveer and Anushka were there. It's probably much more than just being two actors from the same industry.
