It was always rumored, or maybe it actually is true, that Rishi had serious drinking problems as well in his youth. Neetu Singh is said to have turned to her in laws for help and they all sided with her and asked Rishi to straighten out or leave. So maybe Rishi is applying the same tough love here. Or maybe it's a simple fact that this is 2015 and it's not unusual for a 30 something man to move out and be in a live in relationship with his partner. This is a completely different time and era compared to the 70s or 80s. As for his face, when was this Umang show? Maybe it's right after he got home from NYC and it just a case of jetlag. I don't know. I'm throwing ideas out there.
