Ranveer in Aditya Chopra's next directorial film

After his directorial debut Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge completed 1,000 weeks last month, Aditya Chopra is pumped up to direct another love story. He has already started working on it. In spite of being caught up in running Yash Raj Films, he is making time to write and give shape to this project. Sources say that it will be a love story with two leading heroes.

We have learnt that Adi has already shared the idea with Ranveer Singh and wants to cast him in one of the lead roles. It was last year when rumours about Ranveer doing the film had surfaced for the first time. However, at that time he had denied the existence of the project altogether. But now there have been some fresh developments and Ranveer is very excited to be part of the project after a recent discussion with Adi.

A source said, "One of the actors is Ranveer and they are on the look out for another star to play the other hero. The project has just started off. The rest of the cast and other logistics will be finalised in the coming months. It won't go on the floors immediately and will most likely happen by the end of the year, if all goes well."

However, Adi remains tight-lipped. The spokesperson of Yash Raj Films said, "Mr Chopra has still not locked his script and, therefore, has not finalised it, or for that matter discussed the casting with anyone."
