Here's why a group of fans gave up the idea to meet Ranbir Kapoor after seeing him miffed

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor has always made it clear that he doesn't like to be followed by the media. On Wednesday evening, after paying their last respects to the late Ravi Chopra, Ranbir and Katrina Kaif left the Chopra bungalow together. Ranbir was on his way to drop Katrina at a friend's house. But en route he got suspicious about being followed by two cars.
The story goes that a media crew was on its way to Ranbir-Katrina's new love nest to take some shots from outside. But when they saw Ranbir's car in a lane, they started filming it and were waiting for the two to step out. Katrina walked out of the car and went inside the building, while Ranbir drove away.

An eyewitness said, "After 10 minutes, Ranbir Kapoor came back to the same spot and started looking for the media crew who had parked themselves in a corner. As soon as RK saw the cameraman, he got out of his car, ran after him to catch him. The cameraman tried to flee. But a fuming Ranbir spotted the car in which the media crew was travelling. He opened the back door of the car, took out a bag and a boom mic, banged the door shut and went back to his car."
Here comes the funny part. The second car that was following him, were fans who wanted to meet him; they had even brought along a box of oranges to give him. However, they were not too pleased to see the angry young man side of their idol Ranbir. Not wanting to anger him further, they gave up on the idea of meeting him and gave the oranges to the media crew instead, requesting them to hand them over to RK if they met him.

Last heard, Ranbir had returned the equipments on Thursday morning. This is not the first instance of its kind. Last year, Ranbir had snatched a camera from a mediaperson who was following him.
