Happy New Year is the most detailed heist film ever made - Farah Khan

Farah Khan in an interview to a leading daily speaks about her Diwali Bonanza Happy New Year and her equation with Shah Rukh Khan and the detailing done in the script

Farah Khan's Happy New Year is the talk of the town and the director along with the team of the film has already started promoting Happy New Year. The theatrical trailer of the film made the right amount of noise and the two chartbuster songs acted as a cherry on the cake. In an interview to a leading news paper, the director of two blockbusters Farah Khan when asked about Happy New Year said-

"It is the most comprehensive and detailed heist film ever made. We have taken a lot of care to make sure there are no loopholes in the execution of the heist..."

The director is happy with being compared to the most entertaining directors of all time Manmohan Desai. The director also spoke about Shah Rukh Khan's reaction when he read the script for the first time. She said-

"Heist is a formula. There is always a mastermind, there's a safe-hacker, there's someone for the stunts... just like if you are making a love story, there will always be a girl and a boy and obstacles in the way of their love. But no, Oceans cannot copy Happy New Year because George Clooney can't dance like SRK."

Happy New Year stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.

Srk, Depika' s Happy New Year to Release on 23rd October 2014

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Boman Irani's much awaited magnum opus Diwali blockbuster will release on October 23rd, 2014.

For months it was speculated that the movie will be released on 24th october 2014, the day after diwali as that is the best day of the year which attracts maximum footfalls but now at the music launch of Happy New Year just a while back, the HNY team refuted the rumors and announced the release date as 23rd October 2014.

By releasing it on 23rd October the film's chances of beating the first day collections record diminish significantly but on the other hand it gives the film a 4 day long weekend.

Happy New Year's grand Premiere will be held in Dubai on 22nd October 2014 in Dubai.

Note - Srk at HNY music launch said the film will release on 23rd October but it remains to be seen whether it will be paid previews on 23rd of full fledged release.
