kat ruled for abt 3-4 yrs...dpad is in the game only since 2013...lets see if she can manage to be no 1 for 4 yrs or so

DP will get critical acclaim for FF & BO success for HNY.

ETA- I think she is a misfit as a Marathi bar dancer in HNY.

DP might not be able to break Kat's extended rule in bollywood...but what she has earned is critical acclaim for her peformances along with mass popularity...that is the essential difference.

A critic's opinion might not matter to a 'star' but it does matter to someone aspiring to be seen as an 'actor'.

DP seems to be serious about her acting career and not just interested in being a 'star'...that is why she is doing films like FFF, when she could very well be doing itsy-bitsy roles only and notch up hits after hits in her resume.

i don't think kat ever ruled she was constant with BO hits which she did with YRF where she has not done anything rather then look beautiful

Wary that the monstrosity that was the Mohini act in the HNY trailer will undo the acclaim from her last 3 movies.
Mohini act even with the guaranteed BO success will probably do more damage than good. But this mixing things up strategy has worked for her so far.

yeah Kat didn't got accolades from critics also. DP is geeting praised both from critics n ppl also. Thats plus point for her. And she acts well the Kat.
