She surprised everyone. Almost everybody thought it would tank and haters wrote they can't wait to trash the movie when it flops. So on your face! 😆 Let the Kajols, Kareenas do their films with big heroes, this is what you call a deserved success which you can be credited for! (it was actually an A-rated women centric movie, and that without even a hero or elements of sex/lust) Additional there was major competition (1 week before Singham release, 1 week after Raja Natwarlal & then lastly Mary Kom) and it is still steady.

Thank god BW still has actresses like Rani, Vidya, Kangana who give us good films / roles almost each year.
