I am not Interested In Ramlakhan Remake - Tiger

The prospect of stepping into his dad Jackie Shroff's shoes in the remake of the 1989 movie Ram Lakhan doesn't excite Tiger Shroff.

One-film-old Tiger Shroff is sure about one thing, he doesn't want to step into his father's shoes for "Ram Lakhan" remake if at all it's offered to him.

Riding high on the big success of his debut movie "Heropanti", the 24-year-old is happy with what he has got so far.

"No, I don't want to do any of my father's film's remakes. We both are different people and I don't want any sort of comparisons," Tiger told IANS.

"If at all anyone offers me 'Ram Lakhan', I will not do it."

Apparently, Rohit Shetty is planning to remake Subhash Ghai directed "Ram Lakhan", a 1989 blockbuster starring Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit and Dimple Kapadia. Shetty is apparently considering various names from the young lot to play the male leads.

Meanwhile, the Shroff youngster is happy to be accepted by the audience in "Heropanti".

"I am happy with the response and fans appreciation. I don't know what I did in 'Heropanti' (Pata nahin aisa kya ukhaad liya tha maine 'Heropanti' mein)... it's the best feeling to be loved and accepted by the audience," said Tiger, who is likely to feature in Sabbir Khan's directorial venture.

nahi toh any lang if father did remake means son will do and how they butcher the classics they even dont notice it

He may only be one film old but Tiger Shroff is definitely on everyone's radar. Taking in all the fame that his debut film Heropanti' (2014) has given him, the young actor is ruling out being involved in any of the re-makes of his father's films.
As current news rumours Rohit Shetty's plans on re-making Jackie Shroff's 1982 super-hit Ram Lakhan', Junior Shroff wants to head in a different direction. "No, I don't want to do any of my father's film's remakes. We both are different people and I don't want any sort of comparisons. If at all anyone offers me Ram Lakhan', I will not do it," NDTV reported Shroff stating.
Being the son of such a huge super-star comes with a large load of pressure without a doubt, however the young star is doing very well in keeping himself grounded it seems. Talking of the success and appreciation he has received, Shroff went onto say, "I am happy with the response and fans appreciation. According to reports, Shroff has received a number of offers, including his Heropanti' director Sabbir Khan.
