it will be very interesting to see how this movie performs at boxoffice. regardless how this movie performs, this movie will make dips more happening and homi one of the most sought after director.

Finding Fanny Does Well On Saturday

Finding Fanny did well on Saturday as collections improved around 40% as it grossed around 5.75-6 crore nett. The film seems to be liked by its target audience at premium multiplexes although its a limited audience. It remains to be seen how well it can hold on the weekdays. Surprisingly the Hindi version is doing better than the English version and the growth on Saturday came mainly from the Hindi version.

The two day business till date is as follows.

Friday - 4.25 crore

Saturday - 5.75-6 crore

TOTAL - 10-10.25 crore nett

The film is a hit in Mysore which is expected as these types have an audience in that circuit and has grossed around 1.3 crore nett in Mysore in two days which is more than films Mary Kom, Entertainment and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

According to koimoi 2nd day collection is 7.05 cr so total till now 12.15 cr.

What is the budget of the film, including promotions ect?

Some, ahem, impartial members were mentioning that the budget of the film is some 30 Crores due to all the heavy promotion😆 Is that true?

i really don't know why boxofficeindia always have smaller numbers than others. fish.

i wanna know the budge as well. hope its not big. ohh mann am already disappointed mary kom not performing that well. can't take back to back disappointments.

Poppy and Briahna its doing wayyy better than the prediction of Trade experts and boxoffice sites before release even BOI wrote its doing well just hold on, pause yes BOI saying doing well. 😲👏

I am putting down the important bit.

We had a chat with leading distributor and exhibitor Akshaye Rathi on his expectation from the movie Finding Fanny which is releasing this week.

Total Cost : 7 cr ( Production Budget) + 5 cr P&A ( Both - Fox Star Studios)
Release Size/Number of Screens :- 800 screens ( English) + 100 screens ( Hindi Dub)
Fox Star India is distributing the film all over India

Yes budget including marketing will be completely recovered in weekend.

Weekdays are important too for verdict and profit but they are not going to face any loss it depends on how much profit they earn. I am happy that its almost guaranteed it'll not be a flop. 😃

Finding Fanny Picks Up On Day 2 (1st Saturday) At The Box Office

Finding Fanny opened surprisingly well on its first day. The film surpassed everyone's expectations, box office collections wise, considering it is an English movie with Bollywood stars.

On it second day too, the film kept a good stride, as it collected 7.05 crores on its 1st Saturday. The two day total for this film is now 12.15 crores at the domestic box office.

Starring Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapur and Naseeruddin Shah, the film had created enough buzz thanks to its interesting trailer and also the peppy music being a hit with the audiences.

The film performed best in Mumbai and Delhi circuits. It showed a good growth on its second day and the film seems to have created a good positive word of mouth for itself. Expecting a 19-19.50 crores opening weekend business for the film!
