Sidharth Malhotra has built himself as a lucrative brand name post the success of Mohit Suri's Ek Villain. The actor, who is all set to face Akshay Kumar in Karan Malhotra's Brothers, needs to have a toned and athletic body for the film. The physical preparation for the film has already begun from Malhotra's side. Working out, the actor is maintaining a protein rich diet for himself.

Unlike most stars who resort to steroids to pump themselves up, Sidharth is hell bent on keeping it natural. Adhering strongly to a strict dietary regime, he is banking massively on weight lifting and martial arts to get the chiseled physique desired for the film.

He has already put on 8 kilos of muscle weight for the film and syncing himself in the beefed up body. Playing the role of a martial arts fighter, the kind of body desired of the actor needs flexibility and should seem athletic.

Brothers is the official remake of 2011 Hollywood flick Warriors. Given the actor's investment in the physical part of the film, Sidharth is working hard at getting for himself the right body needed to play a warrior in the film. The Martial Arts training is on for him to rehearse his moves before he faces the ring opposite the much trained Khiladi Kumar. The film is all set to go on floors this month and hence the toiling has been harder for the actor.

1st schedule of Akshay Kumar-Sidharth Malhotra's Brothers to begin with climax fight scene?

A film's climax is usually shot in the middle or towards the end of a shooting schedule. However, Karan Malhotra's Warrior remake titled Brothers, will have him shooting his film's climax in the first schedule. Both actors Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra have been working out for months to get into top physical shape.

A source reveals, "The climax scene of the original was the major highlight of the film which is why Karan wants to start shooting the film with it. The first schedule will feature a major fight scene, between Akshay and Sidharth."

Akshay has lost weight for the role and has become leaner, while Sidharth has been doing MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) to prepare for the film. Brothers has Jackie Shroff playing the father of the two actors, and Jacqueline Fernandez is paired with Akshay. The film is an adaptation of Hollywood film Warrior (2011) featuring Tom Hardy, Sean McAnallen, Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Morrison and Nick Nolte. It will release on October 2, 2015.
