No. He just didn't know anyone at Mumbai at that time. But his family was once thrown out of the house when he was a kid.

I think this was during the infamous or famous time Gauri ran away to Mumbai because he was possessive and he had to sleep on foot paths and search beaches for her...

But yes, he did sleep on the footpaths of Mumbai for a few days 😉 and in 20 years rose to build a fortune bigger than Tom Cruise by doing whatever it takes, even dancing in weddings 😛
