Shah Rukh Khan back to television with Got Talent' special?

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is coming back to his roots - the small screen, soon, reveal sources. The Bollywood Badshah' is said to have been roped in to host a grand live show based on the hugely popular international series "Got Talent", for a leading Hindi general entertainment channel in December. A formal announcement of the show will be made at a press conference here Friday, but the source aware of the grand plans told IANS that the show will be one live event to be telecast on the channel.
The source said that if things go as planned, international TV personality Simon Cowell, creator of "Got Talent" and "The X Factor", may also visit Mumbai for the show, likely to be a first-of-its-kind twist on "Got Talent". He returned to the medium to host the third season of the hugely popular game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati" and later he anchored "Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?" and "Zor Ka Jhatka".On the Bollywood front, Shah Rukh will be seen in Farah Khan's multi-starrer "Happy New Year", which happens to be tinsel town's big ticket Diwali release this year.

On his part, SRK will make a comeback on television in December with a new show on the same channel.
Producer Mohamed Morani says, "It is going to be one huge event that will first take place in Mumbai. It will feature winners of India's Got Talent and the winners of international editions of Got Talent; these participants will be coming together on a single platform. Shah Rukh Khan will host this live audience show."
It is being said that apart from telecasting this talent show, the channel will also air Shah Rukh's Slam! The Tour that is being held to promote his film, 'Happy New Year'. The channel is also likely to get the satellite rights of this film, but Morani denies this.
He says, "This show is not related to SRK's film tour. We will have celebrities performing in the show, but they are not from his film. We have Priyanka Chopra, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez.
This apart, regular judges of the show, Kirron Kher, Karan Johar and Malaika Arora Khan, will also be present for a live show. We are thinking of travelling to different cities in India and across the world and if Shah Rukh's dates are available, he will host all these shows and channel will telecast them all later."
The channel spokesperson remained unavailable for comment.
