Wrapped the Vancouver schedule of #Phantom by jumping off a plane at 11000 feet. 8 members of the crew jumped with me

The film is almost completed. Only few scenes are left to be shot. I think remaining portion will be shot in Mumbai.

Phantom releases on 2nd of April 2014 and Phantom is just a working title the real title will be announced later. I think they will soon get into post production like editing etc. poster and trailer out early 2015.

Phantom is almost now completed, they only have a small portion left to shoot

Yup they made Chandigarh into Lahore and Vancouver into Chicago since they didn't get permission to shoot in those places because the film is controversial.

Bollywood took over downtown Vancouver's West Hastings Street Thursday morning where actor Saif Ali Khan was shooting an action sequence for his upcoming film Phantom.

Dressed casually in a red-checked shirt over a grey T-shirt and blue jeans, Khan looked relaxed and ready for the stunt.

"It is basically an action sequence that we are shooting only with Saif in Vancouver," Aditya Singh, who is the line producer for Phantom, told Vancouver Desi.

A camera crew and equipment blocked the middle of the Hastings and Thurlow Street intersection, where crowds gathered to watch the Bollywood star in action.

The chase scene required Khan to drive and stop at the signal where a car bumps him from behind and scrapes his vehicle from the side before driving away.

Khan's double was seen hanging around the scene wearing the same checked shirt and jeans, but Khan did the stunt himself.

Vancouver is being projected as an unnamed U.S. city in the film, which has been shot around the world, said Singh.

Phantom is a counter-terrorism drama starring Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film began shooting last year in Beirut and the two actors were recently snapped shooting in London as well.

But Kaif was not in Vancouver, where only action sequences were being shot, Singh said.

Security arrangements were in place to prevent accidents involving pedestrians and manage the fans during the shoot.

Coordinators occupied corners of the streets, communicating over walkie-talkies and managing the shoot smoothly.

A spot boy made sure nobody was hungry and circulated a tray of sandwiches between shots.

The crew will be filming at different locations in Vancouver over the next few days, Singh said.

Phantom, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Kabir Khan, is slated for an early 2015 release. It is about life after the 2008 Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks.

The film crew will be in Vancouver until this weekend, after which they will fly back to India, said a production co-ordinator at the shoot.

We still have some shooting left after returning to India, said Singh adding that working in Vancouver was like shooting in the Canadian film capital.'

Vancouver is the only city in Canada where the Phantom is being shot. It was a better city logistically and the government here was very supportive with permission and the filming process, Singh said.

Bollywood Globetrotters: Saif Ali Khan + Kabir Khan Spotted Filming "Phantom" in Vancouver

Attention Bollywood lovers! Director Kabir Khan and Bollywood power starSaif Ali Khan have been spotted filming the upcoming flick "Phantom" in Downtown Vancouver today. Phantom is an upcoming film about post-26/11 attacks in Mumbai and global terrorism set to release in 2015. Various locations in Vancouver have been filmed to reportedly play Chicago, Illinois.

Film scenes have also been shot around the world in Beirut, London, and Jammu and Kashmir in India where Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif play secret agents.

Saif was spotted filming a car chase scene all of today along Hastings and Thurlow along with a stunt double. Katrina Kaif has been spotted in London filming for the shoot, but reportedly has not come to Vancouver for this leg of the shoot.
