Deepika was a beautiful wooden living statue for a long time. After Cocktail, she has some life. Then too in Race 2 she was wooden, wooden, wooden. Even now I wouldn't call her great. She delivers just enough to make it enjoyable and she works hard. I respect and like that about her, she clearly puts in the effort for something that does not come naturally to her and that is very commendable to me. However, there are better actors even among her contemporaries like PC and Anushka who blow her out of the water anytime and I won't even compare her with any of her predecessors.

Deepika to me is one of the most beautiful faces to have ever graced BW, figure great, fashion excellent and acting just enough while Ranbir is acting first.

So my choice is Ranbir, Ranbir, Ranbir.

Well Deepika has improved since Love Aaj kal and Kartik calling Kartik days..She was horrendous then.. I loved the couple a lot in YJHD..they complimented each other so well..But Ranbir is still miles ahead in terms of acting when compared to his contemporaries..
