If big deal can be made for SRK being detained at airport in Newark then why not for Sachin who's obviously the biggest icon of India and one of world's greatest cricketers?

Sports news is covered in all global papers. Not possible to not know a great at all.

Even if she did not know, she should not have said it the way she did.

Sachin is one of the few who gives sense of pride to Indians. Understandable for them to feel irked if he is not even identified.
