Akshay has always followed the typical 80s/90s ka formula ... do as many films as possible every year .. at least 2-3 will work and he can continue getting good work.

Only thing is that the number of films he does every year has reduced now and he does both (typical masala and new-age masala) films every year. Some work/some don't. He manages to remain in public memory as a hit hero .. no one remembers flops anyway.
