The trailer of Salman Khan's "Kick" has taken the Internet by storm. The official video has received more than 50 lakh hits in less than three days.

The trailer introduces main characters in the film - Salman as devil, Jacqueline Fernandez as Shaina and Randeep Hooda as a cop.

Salman appears in the role of a guy who does anything for kick in his life. The actor says in the film that "there is no fun in life, if there is no kick in it!" He plays a thief, while Randeep Hooda dons the role of a tough cop who is in pursuit of the devil.

The trailer suggests that "Kick" will be a complete entertainer with all the commercial elements like romance, action, comedy and punch dialogues. In the video, fans get to see the Bollywood superstar utter a few punch dialogues. One of them is , "Main dil mein aata hoon, samajh mein nahin" ("I can be loved..but never understood.")

Director Sajid Nadiadwala told the Times of India that he had long sessions with film's dialogue writer Raja Aroraa to come up with the punchline.

"Rajat Aroraa (dialogue writer) and I had long creative sessions. We needed to define our hero and this line emerged from our various discussions," he told the daily. Salman also approved the dialogue saying "it encapsulates his personality completely."

Fans have been eagerly waiting for "Kick" ever since it went on floors. A few days ago, a sleek teaser poster of the film hit the Internet and received positive feedback from fans.

On Sunday (15 June), Salman and other "Kick" team members including director Sajid Nadiadwala, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, music composer Himesh Reshammiya and Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV Motion Pictures released the trailer in the presence of fans at the Gaiety Galaxy cinema hall, Mumbai.

The video lived up to the hype and fetched overwhelming response from fans. Salman took to his Twitter handle to thank his supporters for the tremendous response.

The theatrical trailer of Salman Khan's Kick, which was released on Sunday, has gone viral on the internet. The trailer has already garnered more than 5 million views and is moving faster than Krrish 3 - which is currently the most viewed Indian movie trailer of all time with more than 22 million views.

The trailer of Kick has received incredibly high number of likes' on Youtube, with more than 40,000 likes already. In comparison, the most liked trailer, Krrish 3, only has 71,000 likes.

Apart from the craze generated on the internet, the Kick trailer has impressed the critics. The trade is ecstatic, most analysts believe the film has a great chance of breaking the records set by Dhoom 3 last year.

With less than 40 days to go for its theatrical release, the excitement is building up at the right time. All that Kick now needs to take the hype to an altogether different level is a good music album. The first song promo is expected to be out very soon.
